The SFVAMC Fort Miley Campus provides medical services for Veterans in the San Francisco Bay Area and the North Coast of California, a population of more than 179,000 Veterans. SFVAMC is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art health care and supporting a world-renowned teaching and medical research program.

The VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS) provides high quality health care with advanced technologies and a commitment to friendly, compassionate service to estimated 232,910 Veterans in the San Diego and Imperial Valley counties. VASDHS offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient health services at the medical center in La Jolla and at the seven community clinics located in Chula Vista, Escondido, Imperial Valley, Mission Valley, Oceanside, Sorrento Valley, and Rio Clinic and addition a VA Aspire Center.

Veterans Administration medical center with an active outpatient program averaging about 120,000 outpatient visits per year. Level 3 complexity General Medicine and Surgery Medical Center with 700 employees. There are seven Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC's) located between 75 and 250 miles from the base facility. Outpatient Mental Health services are also provided. Inpatient programs include medicine and surgery (including ICCU). Extended care services are provided through a forty bed Community Living Center (CLC).
